The League is a CLOSED league to the 12 local Wharfedale schools and will run from October 2025 to March 2026 with each school organising their event and Ilkley Harriers coordinating the programme and league tables.

All individual race details will appear on this website in good time for each of the events and the format will be identical to previous seasons. Although there will be races for Reception to Year 6 at each of the events only the results from years 3 to 6 are used for the League.
Cancellation of events: If any of the events need to be cancelled on the Saturday morning the procedure will be the same for every event => a decision will be made at 8am and a message put on the JIH web site and Facebook by 8.30.
PROPOSED 2025/2026 details: 6 individual events will be followed by a KS2 SchoolTeam Relay to conclude the series.

Individual League
We only use the results of children from Addingham, All Saints, Ashlands, Askwith, Ben Rhydding, Burley Oaks, Burley & Woodhead, Ghyll Royd, Menston, Moorfield, Sacred Heart and Westville.
There will be 8 individual League competitions and typically we count one less than the number of races completed in the season. However 25/26 season – three races have been cancelled so we are counting all 3 that are happening.

Ilkley Harriers are providing the engraved plates for the first SIX finishers in the 8 individual League competitions and individual placing certificates will be presented to all athletes who have competed in 3 or more races in the series.
School Team Relay
At the end of the series Ilkley Harriers will organise relay races, followed by the presentation of awards and certificates to individuals. These relays will take place at Nell Bank on Saturday 14th March 2026. Details here.
