A huge ‘Thank you’ to all who made the Brian Sweet Predictor 10k Run and Quiz a fun evening, especially our marshals, runners and quiz attendees.

Pauline Watts was the second person to be enrolled as an Ilkley Harrier 37 years ago when the club was founded in 1985!
Alison Bennett won the Predictor top prize for finishing five seconds from her predicted time, just pipping Sacha Jones, Jonathan Turner and Mark Iley. No less than 13 Harriers have taken the Ancient Greek maxim ‘ Know Thyself’ to heart. They were all less than a minute away from their predicted times.
Harriers gave a very sporting response to an ‘esoteric’ quiz won by Headtorch Headcases, closely followed by The VJs. Here for the Food won the team name prize.
The evening was a fitting tribute to Brian Sweet, a loyal servant to the club for decades. Brian was still running competitively in his eighties!
