Our family travelled 1/2 hour over the border into Lancashire on Sunday to take part in the Trawden 7 Trail and Junior Races. I only entered a couple of days in advance after spotting an advert posted by Dave Woodhead but worthy to note for the future is that the first 100 entries receive a locally baked pie, in addition to a beer on completion! I was the only Ilkley vest, with the majority of the field coming from the local Lancashire clubs (this race was a counter in the ‘Pendle and Burnley Grand Prix Series’). I finished 6th lady and 1st FV45.
